Students council
At St.Anne’s, we help students bring out their potential in education, intelligence, sprituiality & social awareness. They are put in each of the four committees and the house captains manage them, discuss activities and programs to be conducted.
Objectives of committees
Education Committee (RED)
- To motivate the students to bring out their best by realizing their hidden potentials
- To develop literary activities like debates, elocutions, writings on current issues and highlighting them on the bulletin board
- To enhance intellectual caliber of the students using library, laboratory, computer lab and gadgets
- Acquiring academic excellence through 1-1 teaching and coaching
- Organizing educational visit to some technological institutions than the c to widen their knowledge
- Conducting school exhibition on various topics to gain practical knowledge and wisdom
Cultural Committee (GREEN)
- To create an awareness among the youngsters about the splendour and beauty of Indian culture
- To conduct cultural activities in order to excel the hidden talents of the students in cultural field
- To provide a platform for the students to expose their creative talents thus build self - confidence
- To develop leadership quality in the students in order to organise programmes by themselves
- To promote team spirit among the youth through co-ordination and co-operation with each other
- To cultivate an aesthetic sense and responsibility among the students to preserve the historical monuments of our country
Liturgy Committee (BLUE)
- To help the students be aware of God's presence in nature and in every person
- To make them understand and recognize that God gives his gifts in abundance to all
- To instill faith in every child and help them grow in God experience through various spiritual activities
- To enlighten the children to lead a God - centered life by being a value - based person.
- As an outcome of the input on "God's Masterpiece" the students will develop an attitude of gratitude in appreciating the Creator than the creation
- To help the students to live in harmony with each other by inculcating in them religious tolerance through Inter-Religious discourses
Social Action Committee (YELLOW)
- To develop a sense of health and hygiene among students
- To motivate students to take interest in Political affairs creating Mock Parliament and their role in building a better India
- To create social awareness among students about social evils plaguing our society through discourses
- To inculcate in them an attitude of sharing by visiting Orphanages / Old age homes
- Conducting Intramural competitions like Kho-Kho, volley ball & throw ball
- Conducting mass drill on all Saturdays
